CHIWARA communal lands village headman Shadreck Chidyarukuni has blasted MDC leader Nelson Chamisa for failing to develop his rural home. Chamisa’s rural home is in Gutu South.

Chidyarukuni said there is nothing to show at his homestead apart from 26 dogs and that it is electrified.

Said Chidyarukuni: “I am Chamisa’s village head and have not yet witnessed any notable development that he has done in the village.

“You can see for yourself that there is nothing on the ground to show for his position as an aspiring presidential candidate.

“He is not leading by example. What we only know is that at his homestead there are 26 dogs and that it is electrified.”

Chief Chiwara, real name Reuben Marinda, said Chamisa is not yet mature to lead and dismissed him as a pretender. He said Chamisa had electrified his homestead yet other villagers were living in the dark.

Said Chief Chiwara: “Chamisa is still young in terms of his approach. He has made many empty promises in this area and next to his father’s homestead there is a someone who cannot fend for himself but he continues to cast a blind eye ton his situation.

“He needs time to mature before entertaining any idea of being the President of the country. He cannot compete with the person of the calibre of our President Emmerson Mnangagwa who is a tried and tested leader.”
