ZIMBABWEAN striker Michelle Katsvairo has shared his thoughts ahead of the all-important clash with Chippa United on Saturday.
The former Kaizer Chiefs forward signed on the dotted line with Ea Lla Koto ahead of the January transfer deadline, and is relishing the chance to help the team move up the league standings.
And, in a candid interview, Katsvairo touched on his time with Soweto giants Chiefs and his stint under Stars coach Nikola Kavazovic during their time together in Botswana.
“I am very excited to be back in the PSL, as we all know that it’s one the biggest leagues in Africa,” he said.
“To be honest I was not expecting to be back so soon after I left Kaizer Chiefs. So many things happened during my stay at Chiefs.
“I really want to thank Free State Stars for another opportunity given and coach Nikola, who has been following me since my days at Chiefs to
come for a loan whilst he was still coaching in Botswana.
“I am really looking forward to the weekend match, it’s not going to be easy but the team is ready to do well against Chippa and move away from the relegation zone.
“My personal goal is to do well here at Stars and help the team to move to an improve position on the league table.” — Free State Stars
