ZANU-PF National Secretary for Administration in the Youth League, Tendai Chirau has called on former president Robert Mugabe to produce evidence of who was killed by the army and show the nation where the victims were buried.

Chirau’s statement comes as Mugabe on the occasion of his 95th birthday celebrations on Saturday said the army must stop killing civilians.

Robert Mugabe is having hallucinations,” the firebrand Chirau said. “He must tell us who was killed and where and by whom and under what circumstances.

“It is also important that he shows us the said graves. He should also know that we have some people who lost their property because of the sponsored hoodlums and police officers who were stoned to death.”

Chirau said the Mugabe was reading from the opposition script which he said was littered with fabrications.

“I hope and pray that he was not part of the sponsors of the violent acts. It is clear that the former President is continuously reading from the opposition script, a script littered with fiction and fabrications.”

Chirau also reminded Mugabe that the same accusations labelled against Mnangagwa were also labelled against him during his days in power.

“He should not forget that under his rule the same accusations were made against him and the army and most of these accusations were not substantiated,” Chirau said.

Speaking at his birthday celebrations from their Harare mansion, Mugabe said: “Zvamurikuita zvekuuraya vanhu izvi zvichakudzokerai, mangwana, mangwana, chaiwo.

“Anoda kuona mutumbi wevanhu everyday, achazoona kuti vanhu vachazoda kuona mutumbi wake iye. Ndinoti kumasoja stop killing people
