VICE-President Kembo Mohadi has taken his family to Cape Town, South Africa, for the Easter holidays.
President Mnangagwa’s deputy was recently in the news for all the wrong reasons after he went berserk and allegedly threatened to axe his estranged former wife, Senator Tambudzani Mohadi in Beitbridge three weeks ago.
Early this week, he ten proceeded to file for a protection order at the Harare Magistrates’ court, alleging that Senator Tambudzani Mohadi was actually the aggressor in the axe case.
Women’s rights groups have called for his arrest, but nothing happened to him.
The holidays will come as a breather for him as he has also attracted too much heat from talkative Norton legislator Temba Mliswa, who accused Mohadi of being a rapist and murderer.
Mliswa is also yet to his day in court for the defamation lawsuit he was slapped with as a result, but he said he would very much like to defend his statements in a court of law.
